DANICA PATRICK, No. 13 GoDaddy Chevrolet: “Today was the last big day to get ready for the race. We got through a lot of changes and we did make the GoDaddy Chevrolet a little bit better. We made it worse and then we made it better. That’s good. I think we have some direction to keep going to hopefully improve it, but we’ve got one last shot to know for sure on Friday.”
ED CARPENTER, NO. 20 FUZZY’S VODKA CHEVROLET: “Days like this are a little weird because we’re all out doing long runs, trying things on new tires and old tires. There were moments where I thought we had a really good car, there were moments were I thought other guys had pretty good cars. Bourdais looks pretty strong, Munoz looked pretty strong, but we’ll find out for sure on Sunday. The front row picture this morning definitely made it easier to get out of bed when we were all tired from a long week! My guys have really worked hard for me all week, and I appreciate it a lot. Hopefully, we will get a reward come the end of the month.”
SPENCER PIGOT, NO. 21 PREFERRED FREEZER SERVICES CHEVROLET: “We tried a lot of things today, a couple of them were pretty encouraging to where the car felt really good. We’re going to work from that package and try to fine-tune it again on Carb Day. Overall, I’m pretty pleased and excited to get to Race Day.”
