Josef Newgarden Captures Front Row Qualifying Position For The GoPro Grand Prix of Sonoma With GO PUCK On Board

(SONOMA, Calif.) August 30, 2015 – GO PUCK, the World’s 1st Wearable Power for Mobile Devices, debuted today as a partner on the GoPro Chevrolet of CFH Racing. Driven by Josef Newgarden, a championship contender in the Verizon IndyCar Series, the GO PUCK-sponsored GoPro Indy car will start outside of the front row in today’s 85-lap season finale.

Founded by the designer of every Indy car battery, GO PUCK manufactures wearable, compact and durable power for all mobile devices. Mobile devices depend on power and GO PUCK is the world’s most versatile solution. GO PUCK’s are able to affix to GoPro mounting systems or are wearable on a belt, purse or backpack. A GO PUCK stores enough energy to recharge mobile phones up to five times or GoPro cameras up to six times.

“We are so proud to support Josef Newgarden and CFH Racing,” stated Blake Fuller, founder and CEO of GO PUCK. “We had designed our products from the beginning to work perfectly with GoPro Cameras. Being a part of this team and aligning with GoPro as a sponsor of Newgarnden’s car is a true honor!” Fuller continued. “All of us are looking forward to an exciting day of racing. I know that I’ll be wearing my GO PUCK to power my Verizon IndyCar app, following all the action in today’s race.”

GO PUCK has previously been a part of CFH Racing when co-owner/driver Ed Carpenter claimed two Indianapolis 500 pole positions. “We are happy to welcome GO PUCK back for our season finale,” Carpenter said. “It is great to have GO PUCK on the car as well as GoPro, both leaders in wearable technologies, perfect pairing when we race here adjacent to Silicon Valley!”

“Josef Newgarden and CFH are both based in Indianapolis and are perfectly placed to help market our new launch into the 200+ stores of Dunhams Sporting Goods.” comments Lance Jones, Chief Development Officer for GO PUCK. Jones continues, “A bit of history, Blake Fuller’s previous company Braille Battery had sponsored Josef Newgarden in his first win in the Indy Lights race in 2012 so we are hoping for a great result today!”

The GoPro Grand Prix of Sonoma the race will be broadcast live on NBC Sports Network beginning at 4 p.m. ET.
