	MATT BARNES, Chief Engineer The Colorado State University graduate comes to ECR with a strong resume in the IZOD IndyCar Series. Barnes started his racing career as a Data acquisition engineer with Dorricott Racing in the Firestone Indy Lights. His IndyCar experience Rocketsports, Rahal Letterman Racing, Team Penske and Andretti Autosport. Barnes, originally from Denver, is the chief engineer on the No. 20 Fuzzy's Ultra Premium Vodka Chevrolet machine. Barnes won his first IndyCar Series race as a head engineer last September when Carpenter drove the Fuzzy's Chevy to victory at the MAV500 at the Auto Club Speedway.
	LEE BENTHAM, Driver Development A former Canadian racing champion from Richmond Hill, Ontario, Bentham currently operates own race driver development business and assists the Ed Carpenter Racing. A past karting champion, Lee began in the Toyota Atlantic series in 1995 with a successful partial-season program including two podiums and finished 8th in points. The following year Bentham captured seven podiums and was the series runner-up and fifth in 1997…. He also competed for Forsythe Racing in the Indy Lights series that season and won on the oval at Gateway International Raceway and finished 5th in points…. In 1998, Bentham's breakout year as he captured two wins on his way to the Toyota Atlantic championship for Forsythe Championship Racing.
	JEREMY BURTNER, Fabricator/Mechanic An excellent fabricator, Burtner returns to the IZOD IndyCar Series after several years employed with John Force Racing on the NHRA Full Throttle drag racing series. The Indianapolis native spent many years with Target Chip Ganassi Racing and started his racing career in 1993.
	NICK COOPER, Race Mechanic The Chicago native began his racing career in the Skip Barber Racing School, as he learned his race car mechanical craft in the smaller open-wheel cars…. In 2003, Cooper moved to the Chicagoland IndyCar team of Dale Coyne Racing… In 2004, he moved to the Rahal Letterman Racing team in Columbus, Ohio and worked with the likes of Indy 500 winner Buddy Rice, Danica Patrick, Vitor Meira and Ryan Hunter-Reay…. He returned to the Chicago area in 2008 to serve as a member of the Newman Haas organization…. Nick joined Ed Carpenter Racing in May, 2012.
	ED DELPORTE, Data Acquisition Engineer An 18-year veteran in IndyCar racing, Delporte began his racing career with Dick Simon Racing as a data engineer, shock technician and parts runner. With Panther Racing from 1998 to 2009, he served as a data engineer and shock tech and assisted in scoring 15 race wins and two series championships in the IndyCar Series. The IUPUI mechanical engineering graduate has worked the past two seasons with KV Racing Technology.
	MATT GIESE, Logistics Coordinator The Georgia native raced sprint cars for nine years before working for sprint car racing legend Steve Kinser on the World of Outlaws national circuit. Most recently, Giese has been a member of Team Penske on the Charlotte-based IZOD IndyCar Series team. Giese is a member of ECR Cover the wall crew during pit stops.
	ALBERT GRAY, Gearbox Mechanic Gray has been a stable in IndyCar racing since 1996 including participating in the CART Series, ChampCar and IZOD IndyCar Series. Has been a veteran in all forms of pit stops including changing tires, fueling and airjack. Started in motorsports in 1993 with the Bridgestone Racing School in 1993. Began his racing career as a general mechanic but has concentrated on gearbox construction since 2004.
	BRENT HARVEY, Race Engineer Known as "Woody" in the IZOD IndyCar Series, Harvey began his racing career in 1993 and served on the Bettenhausen CART team for six years. The IUPUI graduate has participated with three IZOD IndyCar Series teams including Cheever Racing, Panther Racing and HVM Racing. The Hagerstown, Ind., native joined ECR in late 2011.
	PAUL HICKS, Mechanic Hicks comes to ECR after a racing career in NHRA drag racing, IZOD IndyCar Series and sports cars. The Lake Zurich, Ill., native attended Universal Technical Institute before entering the motorsports industry. Hicks served with Newman Haas Racing, T.J. Zizzo Top Fuel dragster team and Black Dog Racing Paul will be a member of the Cover the wall pit crew for ECR.
	CHRIS HOGUE, Race Mechanic The Greenfield, IN native comes to ECR with an impressive resume in motorsports including serving as crew chief at Dreyer & Reinbold Racing in the IZOD IndyCar Series. The former IUPUI mechanical engineering student began his racing career in the American LeMans Series with the Riley & Scott Cadillac program followed by stints at Panther Racing, Red Bull Cheever Racing, Mo Nunn Racing and Vision Racing. For the past three seasons, Hogue was a chief mechanic at Dreyer & Reinbold Racing before joining ECR in June.
	JOE HOWARD, Damper Engineer The Purdue mechanical engineering graduate has an extensive background in motorsports Howard began his racing career with an internship at Jonathan Byrd Racing in 1999. He also served at Walker Racing and Auto Research Center before joining Andretti Autosport in 2004. Joe will be charged with the development of the damper program at Ed Carpenter Racing.
	COLLEEN DALLENBACH HOWERTON, Team Coordinator Literally grew up in motorsports watching her father, Wally, racing Indy cars and began working in the sport in the late 1980s. Colleen also watched her brothers race with Wally Jr., winning Trans-Am sports car titles and driving stock cars and Indy cars, and Paul winning the Pike's Peak Hill Climb. Her experience in racing includes registration, timing and scoring, public relations, hospitality and travel manager. Howerton has served with several teams including Target Chip Ganassi Racing, PacWest Racing, PKV Racing and Conquest Racing. Colleen and her husband Rick have two sons.
	JEFF HUGHES, Logistics/Tire Specialist A native of Lafayette, Ind., Hughes competed in drag racing for 15 years as a hobby. Served with Andretti Autosport and worked with drivers Tony Kanaan, Danica Patrick, Mike Conway and Ryan Hunter-Reay. Hughes is one of two drivers of the ECR transporter traveling to each race.
	JIMMIE JOHNSON, Race Mechanic A 12-year veteran in IndyCar racing, Johnson brings strong credentials to Ed Carpenter Racing. The Colorado native has experience with Bradley Motorsports, Kelley Racing, Walker Racing, Cheever Racing and Andretti Autosport. In addition, Johnson has participated in other racing forms such as Indy Lights, ALMS and Grand-Am sports cars as well as NASCAR stock cars and trucks. Jimmie will be a member of the ECR Cover the wall pit crew this year.
	STEVE KROCK, Race Mechanic A Milwaukee School of Engineering graduate moves to Ed Carpenter Racing this year after working with Dragon Racing in the IZOD IndyCar Series. Krock has also served with Team Apex, working in the Star Mazda Championship and the Formula BMW Series.

	BEN SIEGEL, Race Engineer The University of Louisville graduate serves as an assistant race engineer at Ed Carpenter Racing…. Siegel comes to ECR after working with driver Rubens Barrichello at the KV Racing Technology team in 2011…. The Georgetown, Kent., native began his motorsports career while attending engineering class in college…. Worked in various aspects of the Louisville Formula SAE team including building cars, chief engineer and team principal… Upon graduation, Siegel joined the Accelerace Motorsports USF2000 operation, winning the class championship in his first season…. Siegel works closely with head race engineer Matt Barnes and other engineering staff members Brent Harvey, Ed Delporte and Joe Howard.
