Barnes, originally from Denver, is the chief engineer on the No. 20 Fuzzy's Ultra Premium Vodka Chevrolet machine. Barnes won his first IndyCar Series race as a head engineer last September when Carpenter drove the Fuzzy's Chevy to victory at the MAV500 at the Auto Club Speedway. |
LEE BENTHAM, Driver DevelopmentA former Canadian racing champion from Richmond Hill, Ontario, Bentham currently operates own race driver development business and assists the Ed Carpenter Racing. A past karting champion, Lee began in the Toyota Atlantic series in 1995 with a successful partial-season program including two podiums and finished 8th in points. The following year Bentham captured seven podiums and was the series runner-up and fifth in 1997…. He also competed for Forsythe Racing in the Indy Lights series that season and won on the oval at Gateway International Raceway and finished 5th in points…. In 1998, Bentham's breakout year as he captured two wins on his way to the Toyota Atlantic championship for Forsythe Championship Racing. | |

CHRIS HOGUE, Race MechanicThe Greenfield, IN native comes to ECR with an impressive resume in motorsports including serving as crew chief at Dreyer & Reinbold Racing in the IZOD IndyCar Series. The former IUPUI mechanical engineering student began his racing career in the American LeMans Series with the Riley & Scott Cadillac program followed by stints at Panther Racing, Red Bull Cheever Racing, Mo Nunn Racing and Vision Racing. For the past three seasons, Hogue was a chief mechanic at Dreyer & Reinbold Racing before joining ECR in June. | |

Colleen also watched her brothers race with Wally Jr., winning Trans-Am sports car titles and driving stock cars and Indy cars, and Paul winning the Pike's Peak Hill Climb. Her experience in racing includes registration, timing and scoring, public relations, hospitality and travel manager. Howerton has served with several teams including Target Chip Ganassi Racing, PacWest Racing, PKV Racing and Conquest Racing. Colleen and her husband Rick have two sons. |

In addition, Johnson has participated in other racing forms such as Indy Lights, ALMS and Grand-Am sports cars as well as NASCAR stock cars and trucks. The University of Louisville graduate serves as an assistant race engineer at Ed Carpenter Racing…. Siegel comes to ECR after working with driver Rubens Barrichello at the KV Racing Technology team in 2011…. The Georgetown, Kent., native began his motorsports career while attending engineering class in college…. Worked in various aspects of the Louisville Formula SAE team including building cars, chief engineer and team principal… Upon graduation, Siegel joined the Accelerace Motorsports USF2000 operation, winning the class championship in his first season…. Siegel works closely with head race engineer Matt Barnes and other engineering staff members Brent Harvey, Ed Delporte and Joe Howard. |
